The Weld Women2Women Board invites YOU to join us for our 14th Annual Circle of Sisters
Celebration! This year we will be honoring Phil White of Phil’s Pro Auto with “The Kay Broderius
Hand-Up Award” for his years of service to the community, Mary Jo Vasquez of The Housing
Navigation Center with “The Boots on the Ground Award,” and Verniece Thomas with our new
“Pink Purse Award.” Tickets are $65, which includes lunch, non-alcoholic beverages and
inspiration. Silent Auction items and Mystery Bags are part of the fundraising activities. Please
see the sponsorship options from $10,000 to $500 linked below, to support the event!

 

Schedule:

11:00 am – 12 noon.: mingle, silent auction, mystery bags, and drinks (cash bar)

12:00 – 1:30 p.m.: luncheon and program

Our mission is to provide one-time financial assistance to women in Weld County. We do so with open hearts, a respect for the generosity of our donors and the privacy of our recipients, and a belief that we can make our community a better place through our actions and commitment.

Since 2009, Weld County based Women2Women (W2W) has provided immediate one-time financial assistance to over 2,000 local women investing over $1 MILLION DOLLARS back into our community through a referral and application system in cooperation with other 501(c)(3) organizations.

Our Annual 100 x 100 campaign starts September 22

In 2009, a few organizations in Greeley were serving women’s financial needs but none provided immediate assistance. That same year, Women2Women Founder, Kay Broderius shared her idea of an organization that provided financial assistance to women in need with nine other Weld County women.

These ten women all agreed that an organization that could respond quickly to women’s immediate financial needs would be unique and Women2Women (W2W) was formed and received 501(c)(3) status. The first W2W fundraising effort was for each of the ten board members to ask ten friends for $100 in 100 days. Just 31 days later, $11,000 was raised and W2W was off and running.
